Steps to Follow in Web Application Development

Web application development is indeed a job that needs to be quite methodical in approach. A slightest of mistake herein can ruin the entire project. This is especially true if the project is a mission critical one. Its complex paradigms are required to be processed systematically so that the end result meets the clients demands most effectively.

Often at times it has been seen that developers losing the sight of the project and thereby extending the date and time of project delivery. However, if you can simplify the project as per a few basic parameters, the project will definitely be a major success. Any web application development mainly comprises of four basic steps. These are:

1. Project Definition: In this stage, a through assessment about the scope of the project is done. The project parameters are drawn up thereafter  and then a systematic roadmap is ascertained. As this part is formulated out of scratch, a complete dedication is required to be rendered herein. It is then only a successful assessment of the project can be formulated.

2. Designing and Development: After the basic guidance is available, the next step is to build the application as per the projected guideline. Here everything is required to be maintained systematically as per the project definition. A slightest mistake, undoubtedly can ruin the entire project and the entire lifecycle required to be renewed.

3. Testing and Quality Analyses: After a program has been developed, be it for the web or it is a smartphone development process, testing and QA is required to be done so that its performance during mission critical situations can be ascertained. The loopholes, if any, are identified and also rectified during this stage so that the client can enjoy the performance of the application in a hassle-free manner.

4. Final delivery and Implementation: After as all the steps have been followed systematically and the desired result has been obtained, it is time to deliver the solution to the client and help him in implementation of the same. During this stage, the complete ownership of the project is also handed over to the client.
